The Gallery

The Gallery was the first capital project taken on by The Fountain Arts Center.  Originally the site served as the first bank in the village of Belmont; its vault, still a part of the gallery, stores the center’s art collection.

Welcome to The Fountain Arts Center

The Fountain Arts Center is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to use the arts to help create a vibrant community a rural area.  It brings art to the public on “Main St.”

Its main goal was to preserve a historic architectural gem that was doomed to collapse and demolition on Schuyler St. in Belmont.  While on that ten-year journey to completely renovate the facility, it also brought hundreds of programs and exhibits to artists and audiences.

The Fountain Arts Center continues to provide opportunities for artist through its classes and outreach programs.  Additionally, it recognizes the value of the role the arts play in the emotional and mental well-being of a community, and strives to reach hearts through the arts.

It provides an oasis of peace, laughter, hope, enjoyment, personal fulfillment and growth.
