The Gallery

The Gallery was the first capital project taken on by The Fountain Arts Center. Originally the site served as the first bank in the village of Belmont; its vault, still a part of the gallery, stores the center’s art collection. Since it opened in 2001, with well-wishes from Senator Patricia Magee, it has hosted over one hundred exhibits featuring paintings, photographs, textiles, ceramics, drawings, and prints by local artists and groups. The gallery has also been the venue for over one hundred classes, workshops, performances, and lectures. Arts education and enjoyment for old and young alike is the heartbeat of The Fountain Arts Center.
