The Corrado Room

The Corrado Room is named after a talented artist, poet, and composer, who was born in Belmont. Anne Yannie was the niece of Felix Sirio who owned and managed The Belmont for decades. She spent most of her adult life in New York City where she performed as a pianist and pipe organist in many churches and cathedrals. When her husband became bedridden, Anne Yannie Corrado began painting in her tiny kitchen, and exhibiting in galleries and shows in New York. The Corrado Room now houses the collection of Anne’s art, a dear friend of the Fountain Arts Center.
