Photography Workshops -- March 24, 31, & April 14
Did you receive a new camera for Christmas? Are you wondering "what do I do with this camera?" The Fountain Arts Center can help, as it proudly presents a series of Photography Workshops with expert photographer Craig Braack.
Known foremost as the Allegany County Historian, and a popular public speaker, Mr. Braack is also a seasoned photographer. His creative approaches to subject matter, and patient anticipation of the "Kodak moment," have resulted in a body of work that is stunning, and often breathtaking.
Mr. Braack will be turning his attention in these workshops to nature photography, so if you are waiting for winter to melt away, get to go out and capture spring's offerings. The workshops will cover the basics of photography, from cameras -- both film and digital, lenses, additional equipment, and composition.
If you don't know the difference between an F-stop and a bus stop, then this class is for you! Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings, from 7-9PM on March 24, 31, and April 14, at the center's Gallery at 42 Schuyler St. in Belmont. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged by calling 585-268-5951. Cost per class is $5.00.
